Purpose of the Read Aloud

Students will be able to place pictures representative of the beginning, middle, and end of the story in proper sequence while recognizing the word apple.

Preparing to Read

Introduce the word apple with its picture. Today you will be able to recognize the word apple. At the end of this lesson you will be able to identify the beginning, middle, and end of the story.

 

 


While Reading

Point out the beginning, middle, and end of the story in relation to the seasons while pointing out the word apple as it appears in the story.

After Reading

Students will place the pictures representing the beginning, middle, and end of the story in correct sequence. They will also be able to match a picture of an apple with the word apple.
